On March 6th, 1992, Dana Scully introduced herself to Fox Mulder. She was assigned as his partner in order to debunk his work on The X-Files. Little did they both know, their partnership would evolve into something much greater; where trust was was never an issue. Their love has become a legendary story. Today marks the 20th anniversary of their meeting. And, I wouldn’t change anything about their relationship. Well, maybe that whole Diana Fowley thing. We could have done without her just fine. c:
Actually, I’m looking forward to working with you. I’ve heard a lot about you.
Oh, really? I was under the impression that you were sent to spy on me.

Well, it seems to me that the best relationships - the ones that last - are frequently the ones that are rooted in friendship. You know, one day you look at the person and you see something more than you did the night before. Like a switch has been flicked somewhere. And the person who was just a friend is… suddenly the only person you can ever imagine yourself with

![But the thing [Martin] Landau really couldn’t figure out was why credit is rarely given where it is due. He gets almost angry in castigating those who can’t see the show’s greatest assets: David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson.“What no one is picking up on is this relationship between these two actors. It’s gold, and the audience reaps the benefit of people really understanding a character. They’re not lovers but there’s a sexual tension between them.”Landau goes so far as to compare them to Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy. “And you don’t see that kind of relationship any more in films. […] Not enough critics have recognised that the thing that holds The X-Files movie together is that relationship. It’s a knock-out. These guys know the tone of each other’s voices, they see something in their periphery that the other is doing. They know what’s going on before it happens.”

Proof #3: SHE’S PLAYING WITH HIS FUCKING TIE FOR GOD’S SAKE
For the longest time I was dead set on how they first consummated their relationship, and that was in the episode of, All Things. It just made sense to me. And when I saw this gif I’m just thinking yeah right I don’t see that happening. But I went on Netflix and watched this scene at least ten times. And you can kind of see the lapel of his jacket slightly move. And now, all these people are starting to point out little sexual clues before the episode of All Things. So I’m now all for it that they did it before All Things. I just think they didn’t know how to bring it out to light and Gillian’s episode was the perfect opportunity to hint their relationship.
They are so flirty in early S7 and it’s wonderful and beautiful and I love it. She touches him so much. I was actually thinking of making a post of all the little things she did.
